PUBLISHED PRICE — VIDEO EDITING

How much does video editing cost?

€2 per finished second, €120 minimum. It is written down, it is public, and it is the price you pay. You hand over your footage; you get back videos ready to publish.

Let's talk about your film

The price, in plain numbers

NO ARITHMETIC LEFT TO YOU

Most studios quote by the minute and keep the number behind a contact form. We charge by the second and publish it. Every total below is already worked out: find the length of your video, read its price.

Your finished videoHow it adds upYou pay
30 seconds — a social clipstudio minimum€120
1 minutestudio minimum€120
1 min 15 — a reel75 s × €2€150
1 min 3090 s × €2€180
2 minutes120 s × €2€240
3 minutes180 s × €2€360

The counter runs on the finished video, never on the footage you send us. Hand over three hours of filming: you pay for the minute that stays on screen. Prices are in euros and hold wherever you are based.

THE 2026 BENCHMARKS

An honest comparison, using published figures. We do not measure ourselves against the cheapest bid — we measure ourselves against what you were about to pay.

WhereThe 2026 benchmarkOne finished minute
Freelance editor (European marketplace rates)€274 to €465 a day€300 to €900, depending on the day
Motion graphics studio€2,000 to €2,900 a minute€2,000 to €2,900
24 Studio — the edit€2 a second€120

The gap is not a discount, it is a different craft. A motion graphics studio draws every frame from nothing — that is our Film offer, at €10 a second. An edit starts from your footage: we sort it, cut it, repair the sound, work the colour, dress it in your brand. Shorter road, lower price.

What does not change from one offer to the other is the care. No two clients ever receive two videos that look alike.

What is included

NO HIDDEN LINE
  • A full viewing of your footage, and the pick of the best takes
  • The cut: pace, and the removal of hesitations and repeats
  • The sound: voice cleaned up, levels held, music and effects
  • The colour, so that a phone and a camera belong to the same film
  • Your brand on screen: titles, subtitles, logo, end card
  • Two rounds of revisions
  • Your video in full quality, ready to publish

What is quoted separately

An extra format (vertical, square) is a variation, quoted on its own — ask for it at the start, that is when it costs least. A rush job: +20%. Footage with no spoken word to cut on needs writing of its own: we say so before we start, never on the invoice.

How long does it take?

DAYS, NOT WEEKS
  1. DAY 0

    You send the footage

A share link, a folder, files straight off a phone. We confirm we have it the same day.

  2. DAY 2

    You see the rough cut

The first cut and the on-screen style, on your own footage. You approve the direction before we go any further.

  3. DAY 5

    You publish

Your video in full quality, in the format you asked for. A simple fix goes back out the same day.

What the quote states

The payment method, the due date and the exact amount. We do not take cheques — clearing times do not fit a delivery measured in days.

Questions about the price of an edit

STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Does the price depend on how much footage I send?
No. We charge for the finished video. Whether you send twenty minutes or three hours of filming, you pay for the seconds that stay on screen — €2 each, with a €120 minimum.
Why a €120 minimum?
Because a ten-second edit takes the same listening, sorting, sound work and dressing as a one-minute edit. The minimum covers that. Past 60 seconds you are on the flat rate: €2 a second, no steps.
Are subtitles included?
Yes, when the video needs them. They are set in your typeface and your colours — part of the dressing, not an option sold to you at the end of the project.
What if I don't like the edit?
You see a rough cut before the finish: the first cut and the on-screen style, on your own footage. Nothing continues without your approval, and two rounds of revisions are included.
Can I get a vertical version for social?
Yes. An extra format is a variation, quoted on its own. The cheapest route is to ask at the start: we then prepare the edit for both shapes in a single pass.
Do you work with clients outside France?
Yes. Files travel, the conversation happens in English, and the rate does not change: €2 per finished second, in euros.
